BHOPAL: The state assembly on Friday paid handsome tributes to its former Speaker Ishwardas Rohani. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, offering his tributes said that Rohani could not be forgotten and he will always be remembered. Chauhan said that Rohani was a very popular leader in his constituency and one should learn how a lot from Rohani.

He said Rohani gave example of his magnanimity by reinstating two suspended members of the House and set a new tradition in the country.

Leader of opposition Satyadev Katare too appreciated Rohani for smooth conduct of the House. Katare said that when Rohani wan an MLA, he used to grill the government by his questions.

Minister of state for urban administration, Kailash Vijayvargiya remembering Rohani said that he gets a feeling that Rohani is still present in the House.
