These industrialists have given their consent to attend the conclave. Other industrialists will also come to the GIS.

It is expected that as many as 4000 delegates will attend the GIS. Several industrialists, who came in the previous GIS, may not be seen this time. Mukesh Ambani, Cyrus Mistry, Adi Godrej and Gautam Adani are not coming this time.

Industries department did sent invitation to the industrialists, who had made big announcements in the previous GIS but did not implement them, but did not press for it. Subhash Chandra of Zee Group, Jayprakash Gaur of Jaypee Group are amongst those industrialists, who had announced investments in crores from the stage of GIS but did not make any investment.

Similarly, several investors had expressed interest in making investments in the previous GIS but they fell silent after the GIS. There were some who were not found on the addresses they gave their registrations. Industries department is trying hard to check the entry of such persons this time. During GIS, 2014, several Union ministers had announced setting up of factories, backed by the Centre but this time, such announcements will be avoided.
