Hariyali Mahotsav continues in districts

Meghnagar : MP Jan Abhiyan Parishad pledged to plant 2000 saplings over 13 villages. On this occasion, district coordinator of the MP Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Virendra Singh Thakur, block coordinator Tina Sharma and other prominent people were present.

Badnawar: 11,532 saplings were planted under the Hariyali Mahotsav at Gram Gundikheda, on Thursday. This plantation was done by 300 laborers on 12 hectares of land. The land was a part of the encroachment done by some people. However, with the efforts of Sarpanch Mansingh Bhutiya and secretary Sitaram Mausar, plantation was done.

Kukshi: The newly constituted student council of the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, along with the staff, celebrated the Hariyali Mahotsav, by planting saplings in the premises of the school.

Dhar: Under the ongoing Hariyali Mahotsav, staff members of MP Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd, planted the tree saplings and joined the Mahotsav.

Dhamnod: Around 2500 saplings were planted in the presence of Dharampuri MLA Kalusingh Thakur, Mandi President Dr Krishchandra Patidar and Mandi Secretary Satish Patel.

Mandsaur:  Colonel Yogesh Maitre planted saplings under the Hariyali Mahotsav at the MP Battalion, NCC Ratlam and encouraged the students to save environment. Hariyali Mahotsav was observed in the local diet premises in the presence of MLA Yashpal Singh Sisodia.

The Hariyali Mahotsav continued with planting more saplings all over the region. People from various villages and towns pledged to plant plenty of saplings every year. The schools, public building and various government offices were seen calling attention for the plantation heritage by planting saplings and celebrating Hariyali Mahotsav.
