Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Culture Department is going to organise ‘Harihar Rashtriya Natya Samaroh evam Bharatmuni Rashtriya Sangosthi’ in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh School of Drama (MPSD) at Ravindra Bhawan in the city.
There will be eight popular drama presentations by the country's renowned theatre gurus. The plays include Chairaivati, Samundra Manthan, Vishwamitra, Mohe Piya, Harshita, Suvsantak, Sheela and Natyaoutpatti Katha.

Nearly 18 noted theatre gurus and experts including Akhilendra Mishra , Vani Tripathi, Vaman Kendre , Chittaranjan Tripathi , Lokendra Trivedi, Dolly Thakkar, Mahesh Champaklal , Devendraraj Ankur, Devesh Chatterjee, Bhargav Thakkar and Sandhya Purecha will deliver speeches.
Researchers and students from more than 15 well-known universities, theatre education centres and academies of the country are also participating in the seminar. These include National School of Drama, Bhartendu Natya Academy, Punjab University, Kashi Hindu University, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Raja Mansingh Tomar University, Jammu University, Rajasthan University, Dr. DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University and others.

The six-day drama festival will begin with a play ‘Samundramanthan,’ from July 24 in Hansdhwani and Anjani Auditorium of Ravindra Bhavan. Bharatmuni Rashtriya Sangosthi will be held in Gauranjani Auditorium of the Bhavan from July 25 to 28.
Culture Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi told media persons on Tuesday that the event is not only a celebration of theater, but it also becomes an expression of cultural harmony, spiritual depth and national ideology. Director Culture N P Namdeo and director of MPSD Sanjay Shrivastava were present.
