BHOPAL : The government is going to establish a fee regularity authority for private schools, the proposal have been prepared.

The House on Monday gave clearance to the school education department’s demands for grants of Rs 9942 crore.

The minister of state for education Deepak Joshi informed the assembly that the budget for the next financial year was 33 percent bigger than the last year’s. It is 12 percent of the total budget of the state.

The government will provide bicycles to the students instead of transferring funds into their accounts. For the 6th standard students the amount has been increased to Rs 3100 from Rs 2300 and for the 9th class students, it will be Rs 3200 in place of Rs 2400.

He also added that due to the Samgra scheme frauds in scholarship distribution have been controlled to a great extent. The scholarships are given through samgra ID. In future all the activities will be conducted online process. The central government has designed the ‘Shala Siddh’ programme for evaluation of and improvement in school education. It will be incorporated in the ‘Hamari Shala Aesi Ho’ programme in the state. The department will be implementing the programme in 25,000 schools in the state.

The department is going to provide the benefits of 6th pay commission to 1.84 lakh ‘Adhyapak’ category teachers from 1st January 2016. The minister added that a committee will be formed to regulate the fess of the private schools.
