Gandhwani: An event of distribution of bicycles and smart mobile phones took place in Government school and college which commenced with worship of Goddess Saraswati.
MLA Umang Singhar demonstrated his altruism and fulfilled all the demands of students. Principal LS Nigwal informed that 27 students with 75% attendance and above were given smart phones by MLA in 2014-15. 5 computers for 170 students of college and 10 computers, cycle stand and water cooler for school was demanded. Swatantra Joshi, Yashwant Dharve, District head Kamla Dharve, Rajesh Pawar and Nepal Mandloi addressed the students and asked them to study well. Rahul Soni gave information related to bicycles. MLA Singhar also discussed the positives and negatives of mobile phones. He also awarded Rs. 500 to every student who gave a correct answer to his questions related to general knowledge.
Satpal Barnala, Narpat Singh Subhanbhai, Manohar Sarpanch, Vinod Rathore etc. were present. The event was hosted by Shekhar Jain and Principal Balram Anchal gave the vote of thanks.
