BHOPAL : The teams of Blue Line Club and Madan Maharaj Club entered the semi-final round of the District level Sports and Youth Welfare Football Trophy being played at TT Stadium here on Saturday. Blue Line Club defeated Arera Club in tie-breaker round by 3-0. Madan Maharaj Club won against Lion City Club by 3-1.
Earlier, the match between Arera Club and Blue Line Club ended with no team scoring goal. In the tie-breaker round, Blue Line Club won by 3-0. Zeeshan, Shalabh and Vikram contributed immensely to their team’s victory. In the second quarter-final, Madan Maharaj Club defeated Lion City Club by 3-1. Aditya Raj, Chetan and Ishaan hit a goal each. Amarjeet Singh hit the lone goal for Lions City Club.
Deputy Director, Sports, Balu Singh Yadav, DSO Jalaj Chaturvedi, Jose Chacko, Harinarayan Soni, Vikas Kharadkar and convener Jaiprakash Singh were present on the occasion.
