Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) OSD NK Brahme has admitted to have access to digital signatures of top officers of construction-related departments. The MPSEDC officers who were called by the EOW for questioning on Friday, failed to answer when asked why Brahme was given access to the digital signatures. The EOW had summoned top officials of MPSEDC for questioning. They were allowed to leave after recording their statements. If necessary, the officers will be brought before Brahme to confront him.
Meanwhile, an EOW team which had gone to Bengaluru, is back in Bhopal. It has managed to lay its hands on some vital technical documents from Antres Private Limited, a software company based in Bengaluru. The team has also issued notices to the CEO and the vice-president of the company. They have been summoned for questioning.
Four accused sent to jail
Bhopal Court on Monday sent four accused in e-tendering scam to jail. EOW is probing the e-tendering scam. The EOW has arrested N K Brahme, the OSD of the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC). The three directors of Osmo IT solution Vinay Chaudhary, Varun Chaturvedi and Sumit Golwalkar had also been arrested. All the four were on EOW remand till April 22. They were being intensively questioned. The SP EOW informed that the court has sent the four to the Bhopal Central jail. The EOW is investigating the case and will take the action as required, he added.
