BHOPAL : Prateek Bhardwaj was taken on two-days police remand by Bhopal crime branch in connection with duping several unemployed youths by making fake website for job opening of accountant with Panchayats.
Besides the crime branch sleuths have also recovered several documents of applicants, companies forms and computers from his possession. Meanwhile search was on to nab his Sehore based accomplice named Manoj Chaurasiya who is also a director in the company.
On Tuesday, on the receipt of a complaint regarding a website www.Jetexam.in which claimed that it was authorized by Mantralaya Group of Companies investigation was done and it was found that no such ministry exists after which crime branch sleuths arrested Bhardwaj. Bhardwaj is a resident of Nehru Nagar who after completing his engineering from TIT College in the year 2009 started to work as software developer.
The advertisements of jobs of special accountant recruitment under Gram Panchayat were posted at the website. All the terms and conditions for job and salary were kept same as that of the state government. In the initial investigation when the postal address was checked it was found to be in the name of a member of parliament. Within 5 days, as many as 20,000 applicants of the state and from across the state applied and several deposited the entrance fee which was Rs 650. A bank account in the name of Leadspro was opened at Ratibad.
