Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Yet another minor rape case was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior on Saturday, where a class 11 girl was assaulted by her coaching teacher, the police said.
The accused also threatened the minor of killing her and her parents in case she uttered a word about the incident to anyone.
According to information, the incident occurred in Chandan Nagar, Ghasmandi area around 12 pm on Saturday after the coaching class was concluded.
The accused, identified as Vipul Srivastava, teacher and director of the coaching centre, allegedly asked the victim to stay after dismissing the class.
As soon as other students left the coaching centre, the accused took the victim to the inner classroom and executed the crime. When she protested, the accused gagged her and threatened to kill her and her parents if she told anyone about the matter.

Following this, the victim reached home crying and narrated her ordeal to her mother. Her mother immediately took her to the police station and lodged a complaint against the accused, who has been absconding since the incident.
Gwalior Police have registered a case under relevant sections of rape and POCSO Act. A search has also been launched to nab the accused.
Gwalior police station in-charge said that a case was registered immediately after the minor’s complaint. A police team has been formed to arrest the accused Vipul Srivastava, as soon as possible.
