Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid homage to late Kushabhau Thackeray-- one of the senior members of the BJP, on the occasion of his birth anniversary. He offered garland to Thackeray's statue at the Kushabhau Thackeray International convention centre in capital Bhopal on Saturday-- Krishna Janmashtami.
Addressing the gathering, the CM said that Thackeray ji struggled like Lord Krishna and brought comfort to many people during difficult times.
During his speech, the Chief Minister extended greetings for Shri Krishna Janmashtami and reflected on the life of Lord Krishna. He emphasized Lord Krishna’s fearless actions from childhood, such as confronting Kansa and breaking the butter pot (makhan matki) as an act of rebellion.
The CM remarked that great men like Thackeray embody divine qualities. “We haven’t seen God, but there are individuals whose lives reflect divinity,” he said. He highlighted how generations of RSS and BJP workers have given selfless service to the nation.
Yadav added that the party’s strength lies in its tradition of nurturing and guiding its workers which allow them to learn from mistakes and grow.
Later, the Chief Minister visited Shaurya Smarak to pay floral tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary.
BJP leaders including Hitanand Sharma, Alok Sharma, Vishwas Sarang, Krishna Gaur, Rameshwar Sharma, VD Sharma, and Mayor Malti Rai were also present.
He concluded with a message of peace and prosperity, praying to Lord Krishna for the welfare of all.
