Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh): A team of the Bharatiya Janata Party urged collector Sonia Meena to act against those who were responsible for the incident in which a dog bit the body of a man at the district hospital.

The team led by president of Narmadapuram Mandal Rupesh Rajput held talks with Meena on other issues. The body was kept at the hospital for a post-mortem. The team also met deputy collector Babita Rathore, also in charge of the district hospital.

The team submitted a memorandum to the officials, demanding action against district health and medical officer Dr Dinesh Daharwal. Rajput said he had submitted a memorandum to the collector to improve the conditions of the mortuary.

One and a half months have passed since he handed over the memorandum, but the officers did not act to improve the conditions of the hospital and the mortuary.

In the memorandum, they also demanded the officials improve the mortuary.

They also demanded proper use of the body freezer given to the district hospital in 2019. Rathore assured the BJP team that she would take action on the issues mentioned in the memorandum.
