Bhopal: Women wing of Congress burns CM’s effigy

BHOPAL: Women Congress burnt the effigy of the chief minister protesting the rape incident of a five-year-old girl, on Tuesday. The workers demanded to hang the culprit in the case. On Monday, state Women’s Congress president Mandvi Chouhan and others visited Kamla Nehru Hospital and met the victim. The 5-year-old was raped by some unidentified person on the night of Saturday.

State president including DCC president PC Sharma, Vibha Patel, Sashi Rajput and others burnt the effigy of the CM at Roshanpura Square. The party demanded Rs 1 crore compensation for the victim and said the culprit should be  nabbed at the earliest and death penalty be awarded to him.
