Bhopal: Will not let social media to be used as tool during farmers’ strike, says police

Bhopal: Police is going to suspend the mobile and internet services if attempts were made to use social media as a tool to instigate farmers during their agitation. The first day of the agitation passed off peacefully, however, administration in Ratlam had some nervous moments after an old video was circulated.

Not ready to let anything go out of hands this time, the administration is all set to suspend the internet services and sever mobile connections if wrongdoers attempt to disrupt peace through social media. The police have planned to take speedy action against such complaints and have also developed a system to keep an eye on the social media messages.

Instead of waiting for complaints, the officials will be take sue motto cognizance and initiate action against the culprit. In Mandsaur, the epicentre of the protest, CCTV cameras have been installed to keep eye on the every movement.

All geared up, police patrolling parties are manning highways to make sure that farmer’s agitation remain peaceful. Will not let social media to be used as tool: Police According to Central intelligence inputs the agitation may go violent from June 3 to 5 and during its last leg from June 8 to 10. While the police and administration are vigilant, the protesting farmers are also observing them. They are likely to plan out their strategy looking at the police action being taken against them.
