Bhopal: West Central Railway workshop on cardiac arrest, heart attack for employees

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A workshop was organised for all officers and employees of West Central Railway to raise awareness about cardiac arrest and heart attack through webinar. It was organised under the Eye Care Programme of Holy Family Hospital, Bandra West, Mumbai.

On the occasion, Chief Personnel Officer SK Albela, Chief Personnel Officer/Administration Prabhat, Deputy Chief Personnel Officer/Administration HS Meena, Deputy Chief Personnel Officer/IR Anil Kumar Tiwari and other officers/employees of Headquarters were present.

At the workshop, Soumya Raghavan of Holy Family Hospital, Bandra West, Mumbai, Anand Srivastava and Dr Akshay Mehta informed about the difference between cardiac arrest and heart attack as well as how to identify them and the measures to be taken immediately. Along with this, information about how to use Automated External Defibrillator (AED), which is used in immediate treatment in cardiac arrest, is provided through the video. The programme was conducted by Assistant Personnel Officer, Welfare, Abhay Gupta.
