Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A newlywed woman ended her life by hanging herself in an area under Chhola Mandir police station late Tuesday night, police said.
Chhola Mandir area resident Bharti Kuchbundia (23) took the extreme step at her parent’s home. Bharti’s kin informed police that she was married to Vishal Kuchbundia only three months ago.
Vishal had allegedly started abusing her physically and mentally soon after the marriage. Woman’s kin told police that Vishal was in a relationship with another girl and was not ready to accept Bharti as his wife.
On Tuesday, Vishal again scuffled with Bharti following which her parents took her to their home in Kaichi Chhola area where she hanged herself.
Farmer ends life
In the other incident at Berasia a farmer ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance. He was upset as his wife was reluctant to live with him.
Scolded for scoring poor marks in exams, girl hangs self
Upset over being scolded for scoring poor marks in examination, a Class 8 girl student hanged herself in her room. The incident took place under Sukhi Sewania police station late Tuesday night.
According to reports, Uma Rawat was a Class 8 student at a school. On Tuesday night his father Ramswarup scolded her for scoring poor marks. Ramswarup and other family members were busy in other works when Uma locked herself in her room and hanged herself. However, the family immediately broke open the door and brought her down from the noose. Uma was admitted to a hospital where she died while undergoing treatment late in the night. Police officials said that she left no suicide note but primary investigations revealed that she was upset over being scolded by her parents.
