BHOPAL: Revenue minister Umashankar Gupta will be going to establish ‘chaupal’ at JP Hospital and Katju Hospital to know of the hospitals’ condition and to solve public agony on every Monday.

Gupta started the ‘chaupal’ from Katju Hospital on Monday. He sat outside the hospital and heard the problems of the patients coming to the hospital. He warned the hospital staff that if they did not work properly he would suspend the errant staff.

He took the note of medicine availability, laboratory functioning and availability of doctors and other nursing staff. He added he would organise ‘chaupal’ at the gate of JP Hospital and Katju Hospital for half an hour every Monday from 9.30 to 10 am at Katju and from 10.30 at JP Hospital.

He added these hospitals came under his assembly constituency and earlier he used to visit the hospitals and discuss the problems and their solutions for the benefit of the people.
