BHOPAL: The city crime branch arrested two vehicle-lifters and recovered a two-wheeler and a four-wheeler vehicles worth Rs 2 lakh from their possession from Fanda Jod area. The accused was identified as Javed Khan, a resident of Sehore, who confessed to stealing of the motorbike from Piplani area two months ago and sold the motorbike to Shoaib Khan of Teelajamapura at Rs 2000. Based on the information police team started search for Shoaib and recovered Hero Honda Splendor bike from his possession and when he was interrogated regarding the involvements in the crime he confessed that he along with Javed have stolen a Maruti 800 car from Housing Board Colony Koh-e-Fiza around two months ago. Police suspects that more crimes would be revealed in the further investigation. Other accomplices who have helped in the crime and have helped in disposing of the stolen vehicles would be searched. During the investigation police found that Javed has been booked for theft and burglary by Khajuri police while Shoaib has been booked by Gautam Nagar police and Teelajamalpura police for burglary and thefts. The two accused work as labourers to evade arrest. The motorbike bearing registration number MP48MD5331 and a Maruti 800 car bearing registration number MP20FA0845 were recovered from their possession in the investigation.
