Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The three-day yoga training session for school students is set to conclude on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
More than 450 students from across the state capital registered themselves for the training. Olympian Ankit Sharma also attended the session on the second day to motivate the students and tell them the benefits of Yoga.
Yoga instructor Rahil Khan explained all the asanas to the students online. He told them Yoga was beneficial for all age groups and that it was not only helpful in keeping their body fit but also their minds. He said the Yoga Association of Bhopal will organise an inter-school Yoga competition soon after the training. The training session began with a two-minute silence in the memory of athlete Milkha Singh, who passed away recently.
Sharma shared some anecdotes about the Flying Sikh and told the students about the time he spent with the athlete.
