Bhopal: State Corona active figure dips to 1,495; 84 people diagnosed with infection

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradeshís active cases dropped to 1,495 on Wednesday. The state reported 84 corona cases taking the infection tally to 7,89,499 on Wednesday. The fatalities figure stands at 8,827. Around 65,869 samples were sent for testing, of which 476 were rejected. Corona positive rate continued to be 0.1 per cent.

Burhanpur, Alirajpur, Khandwa and Chhattarpur districts continued to remain corona free. Besides, Rewa, Satna, Vidisha, Shahdol, Katni, Sidhi, Balaghat, Singrauli, Morena, Neemuch, Dewas, Jhabua, Chhattarpur, Datia, Tikamgarh, Umaria, Mandla, Guna, Khandwa, Sheopur, Niwari, Ashok Nagar, Alirajpur and† Bhind did not see any new case in last 24 hours.

Dindori, Damoh, Anuppur, Sehore,† Dhar, Shivpuri, Narsingpur recorded just one corona case each. Their active cases stand at 3, 75,9,8,11,8 and 6 respectively.

Major cities like Indore and Bhopal reported 12 and 13 new corona cases respectively while Gwalior and Jabalpur reported 2 and 4 corona cases respectively. Indore active cases have come down to 281 and in Bhopal the figure stands at 438. Similarly, Gwalior and Jabalpur active cases reduced to 9 and 70 respectively.
