Bhopal: Ex- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has claimed that assembly speaker of MP was not following simple courtesy. Chouhan said he was obstructed when he greeted the central government for providing reservation to upper castes.
Chouhan said leaders mention special issues in the House but they were not obstructed. Chouhan said the opposition is given patronage in the House but the speaker had choked the voice of democracy. He said, “We have respected the chair but the speaker tried to suppress the opposition.
”Ex-CM claimed that the name of deputy speaker was announced in an arbitrary manner. Chouhan said assembly speaker should not discriminate the way he did. Election held as per rules: Prajapati Speaker NP Prajapati has said that he got the election of deputy speaker was done as per the rules.
Prajapati asked how could, the point of order of ex-speaker Sitasharan Sharma be taken when election process had already begun. Prajapati said he folded his hands several times in request before the opposition and asked them to go to their place. Prajapati said he was conducting the House with full fairness.
