Samanya Pichda Alpsankhyak Kalyan Samaj party will launch a week long state wide movement against the SC/ST Atrocity Act, from Wednesday. The national president of SPAKS Heeralal Trivedi informed that the movement aims to press the demand to pull back the amendment in the Act. On Wednesday, October 25 at every district and block headquarters the supporters will take out a rally and submit a memorandum to the SDM or the collector.
While, in Bhopal the rally will be flagged off from the party office and the memorandum will be submitted to the governor. Before submitting the memorandum the workers will take mass signatures on the memorandum. On Friday the members will organise street plays at assembly constituency headquarters, block and district headquarters. On the Karwa-Chouth festival all the members will observe mass fast or hunger strike. On October 28 members will take out a rally and organise a public meeting to create awareness about the effect of the Act.
