Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Six people were injured after a violent clash broke out between two communities over speeding bikes in Jehangirabad area of Bhopal on Tuesday. Both the groups pelted stones at each other and chased each other holding swords in hands to show off their power.
A video of the same has gone viral on social media platforms.
As soon as the police received information about the clash, a team was sent to the site to control the situation. A huge police force has been deployed in the area to ensure peace. Several senior-level officers also reached the spot.

According to information, the conflict stems from a scuffle between some youths over speeding of a motorcycle two days ago. In the scuffle, out of five accused, three had been arrested while the other two were absconding. Reportedly, the local residents saw the two accused in the area and started thrashing them.
This dispute escalated into a full-blown altercation on Tuesday, resulting in violence and chaos. The dispute escalated to such an extent that both the communities started pelting stones at each other and started brandishing swords to assert dominance.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, the area has been heavily cordoned off, and additional police forces have been deployed to prevent further unrest. Officials have turned the area into a virtual fortress to maintain law and order.

Investigation underway to determine the cause
Police officials have lodged a complaint into the matter and have begun detaining all those involved. Further questioning will reveal the true cause of the unrest. In the meantime, the authorities have urged the residents to maintain peace, and an additional police force has been deployed in the area.
