Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A video went viral on social media in which a 16-year-old boy was allegedly stripped naked and brutally beaten over old enmity. The accused also shot his video when he was being assaulted by them, Gautam Nagar police said here on Friday.
According to Hanumanganj ACP Rakesh Baghel, a video went viral on social media in which a group of men are seen brutally beating a 16-year old boy who a resident of Sharda Nagar.
The incident took place on March 22 when his friends called him to a cafe near Chetak Bridge. From there, he was forcefully taken by Arbaaz, Shanu and Altaaf and five others near Hathai Kheda dam where he was stripped and assaulted with belts and shoes.
A zero FIR was registered against eight accused including Arbaaz Sheikh and Shanu Kokta on Friday and the case was transferred to MP Nagar police station.
Baghel added that some of the involved accused were sent to jail in different cases earlier.
It is said that this attack is the result of an old rivalry. Some time ago, some people had beaten up Shanu Kokta outside the jail. This attack was carried out on this minor youth with the intention of taking revenge for that incident.
