Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Ayodhya Nagar police arrested the builder and his minor son in connection with the tragic road mishap of the manager of a private bank at Narela Jod on Saturday morning.

Police registered an FIR in this connection under the Motor Vehicle Act and has made the father of the minor a co-accused in the case. Police officials said that the minor would be produced before the Child Welfare Committee for further action.

It is worth mentioning that manager at a private bank Amrita Omkar (40) was going to her office when her scooty was hit by a SUV coming from the opposite direction. Amrita died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. It came to fore that a minor was driving the SUV owner by his father Jai Prakash Sahu.

Ayodhya Nagar police station incharge Sandeep Pawar said that police seized SUV (Scorpio) and found the ‘dupatta’ of the bank manager entangled in it.

Jai Prakash has been made a co-accused in the case as he gave the vehicle to his son despite the fact he had no driving license, he added.
