Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The government has claimed that 15,000 investors will take part in Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) to be held at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sanghralaya (IGRMS) on February 24 and 25.
The representatives of 30 countries have given their consent to take part in the summit.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the government was trying to see the representatives from 50 countries at the summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the summit.
Besides Modi, ten union ministers will be present at the summit. Four main meetings to be held as part of the summit will be Pravasi Sammelan, Sectoral Section, Buyer-seller Meet and a Textile Expo where new textile technology will be displayed.
Yadav also said that a one-district-one-product exhibition would also be held. GIS has so far been held in Indore.
Yadav is getting it arranged for the first time in Bhopal. Since the summit is being held at IGRMS, the guests will have a glimpse of the tribal life and culture of Madhya Pradesh. The tourist places in MP, tribal culture and religious places have become part of the GIS theme, because it is being held at IGRMS.
All items related to the theme for branding the event will be brought to the spot.
Proposal for investment of Rs 4 lakh crore received
Investment proposal for over Rs 4 lakh was received in the Regional Investors’ Conclaves held in different parts of the state. The state government expects a huge amount of investment proposals at GIS.
