‘MP Ghazab hai, sabse ajab hai’ (MP is strange, MP is different) the tag line for state promotions seems to be justifying. The electricity bill of my house for the month of May is Rs 36,86,660. Dear chief minister such a mockery with a poet that too during corona period is not right. Even the ink of my pen has dried because of lockdown and corona. How will I foot the b ills of Rs 36 lakh? This is an invitation of corruption and bribery,’ wrote Manzar Bhopali on his Facebook wall.
Bhopali said that it seems that the electricity officials want that I should approach them so that they can demand money for rectifying the bill.
He said that during summers he gets an average bill of Rs 6000 per month while during other months the bill stands at around Rs 3-4000 only.
