Bhopal: Projects related to Simhastha still underway!

BHOPAL: Chief secretary Antony de Sa has decided to dispose of all cases before his retirement which may cause trouble to him in the future. De Sa on Thursday convened a meeting of heads of all departments, who did works related to Simhastha-2016.

He asked them to submit utilisation certificates of the fund allotted to their respective departments for the works related to Simhastha.

De Sa sought details of the fund allotted to the departments during Simhastha, the status of expenditure made and the remaining fund. It came to the fore in the meeting that several works are still under progress, from the fund allotted for Simhastha.

 The works of diversion of Khan river and road construction by Indore Development Authority are still going on. De Sa instructed the officers to ensure that all works, which are under progress, should be completed by December 31 under any circumstances. The works during Simhastha had put government in dock. De Sa does not want any controversy on the works related to Simhastha. The department of urban administration and public works department were leading in doing works related to Simhastha. De Sa has asked the officials of these departments to furnish complete details of the fund spent in Simhastha.

Additional chief secretary BP Singh, SR Mohanti, Iqbal Singh Bains and other officials were present in the meeting.
