Bhopal: Over nine transfers in one year, electricity assistant manager quits

Alleges harassment at the hands of senior officials of the department.

BHOPAL: Irked by over 8-9 transfers/attachments in one year that too when Covid-19 was at its peak, assistant manager in the electricity department in Raisen district resigned from his post.

Deputy manager at Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Limited, Manoj Kumar Jaiswal, posted in Udaipura of Raisen district submitted his resignation on Tuesday.

Jaiswal, in his resignation letter said that he was transferred or attached for over 8-9 times in the past one year when the pandemic was at its peak. ìBecause of frequent transfers I cannot live with my family. Moreover I am not even given allowances that one is entitled for with transfers,î wrote Jaiswal in his resignation letter.

Jaiswal said that general manager Raisen ordered recovery from him for issues in Bareily for the period that he was not even posted in Bareily. Jaiswal was denied higher pay band also that was due from the month of March.

The deputy manager alleged harassment at the hands of senior officials of the department. Jaiswal has worked for nine years and five months with the department but said that the way officials have been harassing him he doesnít see any future in the department including promotion or increment etc.
