Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh reported only 845 vaccinations on Sunday. Inoculation was conducted at only 40 vaccination centres (session sites) in the state. Thirty-one session sites were at government hospitals and nine session sites were in private hospitals in the state. However, it was not vaccination day.

The first dose tally went up to 20,143,517 and second dose tally to 3,791,000. The overall vaccination tally went up to 23,934,517.

The vaccination tally for the 18-plus category increased to 12,001,762, while the tally for the 45-60 years category increased to 6,983,103 and for the above-60-year category to 4,949,652. The Covishield vaccine doses increased to 20,929,148, while Covaxin doses increased to 3,002,867. The male vaccine tally increased to 13,265,736, while the tally for females increased to 10,664,593.

Indore reported 584 vaccinations, while Bhopal reported 91 vaccinations and Gwalior reported 47. Ratlam reported 117 vaccinations, while Katni reported three.

Earlier, the state reported 23 corona cases on Sunday, pushing up the corona infection tally to 790,175. Indore reported nine corona cases, while Bhopal reported just five. Betul and Harda reported 2 corona cases each, while Khargone, Rajgarh, Ratlam and Sehore reported one corona case each. The corona-positive rate continued to be 0.03 per cent. Around 74,372 samples were sent for testing in the state.
