BHOPAL: Newly appointed members of the Indian Youth Congress were given training to oppose the BJPís propaganda on social media. The meeting was held at the PCC office on Saturday. State-in-charge of social media Abhay Tiwari claimed that the social media team of the Congress was much stronger than the paid social media team of the BJP. He added that, if more Congress-minded people joined social media, it would be sure to unsettle the BJPís propaganda machinery.

IYC state president Dr Vikrant Bhuria asked the members to work relentlessly until the party came back to power in the Assembly elections that were going to be held in 2023. He stated that, nowadays, people scrolling through social media were reading real, as well as fake, news on the platforms. He asked every member of the IYC to start a campaign against fake news and inform the readers about the ìreality of the BJPî.

President of the IYC social media team Chanchlesh Vyas distributed the appointment certificates and asked them to gear up against the BJPís social media campaign.

President of the IYC's media wing Vivek Tripathi said that the performance of the state's IYC unit had topped in performance across India. The social media team was responsible for bringing honour to the state unit.
