Bhopal: National anthem recited after hoisting BJP flag

Bhopal: A video has gone viral which shows BJP leader hoisting the party flag and other reciting national anthem. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was present on this occasion. The incident happened during an event of “Panchayat Chalo” Abhiyan where National Anthem – “Jan Gan Man” was recited after hoisting BJP flag instead of Tri-colour at Raj Nagar, Chhattarpur district, on Monday.

Criticising the act PCC working president Jitu Patwari said, “BJP has given slogan “Dal se Bada Desh” (country is above the party). But actually, BJP leaders practice just reverse and try to show BJP is above the country and PM Modi is above the country.

“BJP has recited national anthem after hoisting party flag, it is insult to national flag,” he added. As per the Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan of BJP, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, union ministers, ministers, party leaders, will present party flag to Yuva Morcha outfit and review the 20 flagship schemes of the government. Yellow colour rice is distributed as symbolic invitation for Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan.
