Bhopal: MP’s son held for drug peddling

BHOPAL: Rajya Sabha member Sampatiya Uike’s son Satyendra Uike was arrested in drug-peddling case in Mandla on Wednesday. The action comes following CM Kamal Nath’s directive to DGP to launch anti-drug peddling drive in state.  Mandla SP RRS Parihar told Free Press that a police patrol found Satyendra peddling drugs in a car. On seeing the police, Satyendra and his two aides tried to drive away. However, they were arrested. His aides were identified as Abhishek Lakda and Shahrukh Khan. Seventeen pouches of smack were recovered from Satyendra, 10 from Abhishek and 12 from Shahrukh. Police registered case under the NDPS Act.
