Bhopal: MBBS student, CAT aspirant & gym director among 19 held

BHOPAL: An inter-state high profile flesh trade racket was busted in the state capital with the arrest of  19 persons including 14 customers and five call girls from Housing Board Colony under  Nishatpura police station area under  the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, on intervening night of Thursday and Friday. The raid was conducted with the help of women cops from Mahila thana. The accused belong to well off families. Police also seized 27 mobile handsets, Rs 22,000 cash, a Bolero SUV and others.

MBBS student, CAT aspirant, LIC agent, Gym director and college girls were arrested in compromising condition.  14 customers and five girls were arrested from the duplex. The kingpin was also arrested previously in same incidents. All the accused were produced into court and sent to judicial remand. Girls were brought from Punjab and Ujjain. One of them is from Bhopal.

As far as accused is concerned, Madan Solanki is an MBBS student while Yogesh Singh is a CAT aspirant, Amit Sharma is director of a gym, while Banne Singh is an LIC agent. The other who have been arrested include Vicky Thakur, Roshan Gupta, Ram Babu Shivhare, Ram Niwas, Saif Khan,  Lokendra Singh and Arvind Mehra.

On February 3, the kingpin had taken a duplex on rent to run the flesh trade racket. Local residents had informed about it to police which swung into action.

SHO Manish Mishra said that 19 including five girls aged 19 to 25 years were arrested in sex racket and they have been sent to judicial remands after being produced in court. A cop posing as a client was sent to strike the deal and later police raided the duplex and arrested all of them.
