Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A man has been arrested for stalking, threatening women, and stealing their undergarments in Bhopal. Police discovered several bikni sets of bra and panties from his scooter's dickey and his pockets.
Chuna Bhatti police sent him to jail on Tuesday. The reason behind his bizarre theft is yet to be ascertained.
According to Chuna Bhatti police, he would pass lewd comments at girls, threaten them, and steal women’s undergarments. To hide his identity, he always wore a mask and sunglasses and even covered his scooter's number plate with paper.
However, the stalker was identified as Izhar Khan, a resident of Gautam Nagar. He was nabbed for stalking two girls in the Chuna Bhatti area on Monday. One of the girls was harassed during the daytime while another in the evening.
The second victim raised the alarm, after which people caught hold of the accused and handed him over to the police.
Women undergarments in scooter
When the police made a search, they found undergarments of women kept in the accused scooter and in his pant's pockets. At present, the police are trying to find out from where the accused had stolen those garments.
The accused also covered the number plate of his scooter so that his identity could remain under wraps. Police said that they had presented the accused in the court on Tuesday and he had been sent to jail, till further orders.
Police informed that they had contacted other police stations to search similar cases reported in their area.
