Bhopal: Kamalnath, after his appointment as Congress state chief, is all set to play Hindu card on the lines of Gujarat model. Kamalnath, who will assume charge on May 1, will begin his functioning with visiting temples. In his four-day tour, Kamalnath will visit Mahakaleshwar temple of Ujjain, Bagulamukhi Shaktipeeth of Datia and Hanuman Mandir situated at Lalghati in the city.
As far as Assembly seats are concerned, almost all seats, barring a few, are dominated by Hindu voters. The BJP has the image of being a pro-Hindu party. Rahul Gandhi, who visited temples in Gujarat to change his party’s image, will now visit temples in Karnataka too.
