Bhopal: JAP terminates service of 15 accountant-cum-clerk

Bhopal: The services of the 15 accountant cum clerk working in the Jan Abhiyan Parishad had been terminated. Those affected are now running from pillar to post to get relief. Professional Examination Board had conducted the recruitment exam in the year 2015 for the 2208 posts. Of these 15 posts of accountant cum clerk were scheduled to the department JAP.  An affected person Rohit Mehra said that he had appeared in the exam and after due process he got the job in the JAP.

He said, “What is the fault of 15 of us who were working in the JAP, whereas the other candidates who had appeared in the common entrance test are still working in their respective departments while we have been shown the doors for no reason”.  Another candidate Shankar Singh alleged that staffs who got their jobs in the Parishad via backdoors are still continuing in their jobs but services of candidates who had got jobs throught proper process have been terminated. The Congress media vice president Bhupendra Gupta said that the party had raised the regularisation issue of the workers working in JAP.

According to sources the organisation an NGO and is working under the state planning, economic and statistic department, but the earlier government had regularised the services of hundreds of workers through backdoor.  Congress had objected that how the staff of an NGO can be regularised and merged into the state government services. Gupta also alleged that the officials are still playing tricks, the candidates who were recruited from the open exam are terminated while hundreds of them are still working. He said the party will discuss the matter with the chief minister after the Lok Sabha elections.
