Bhopal: Inter-City passengers buses allowed in BRTS Corridor

After Chattered buses, BRTS administration has permitted Inter-City passengers buses in BRTS Corridor.  Currently, 28 chattered buses with 55 frequencies are being operated and BRTS Administration is getting positive and encouraging results. On Monday, BRTS Corridor administration convened a meeting with inter-city travels operators. Representatives of 14 bus travels including Srinath Travels, Sai Nath Travels, Geetanjali Deep travels, and others were present in the meeting.

Operators told the officials that first they will conduct trial in BRTS Corridor and then they will start operations. Operators with CEO Sanjay Kumar took the stock of condition of BRTS Corridor after the meeting. Bus operators have been instructed to follow the rules. They are asked not to overtake buses in BRTS Corridor in order to save their time.

They have also been asked to remain cautious about the safety of passengers. Various issues like accidents happening due to halting at bus terminus and cut–points, theft in buses at bus stands were also discussed.  As per the BRTS Corridor administration, as the chattered buses followed the instructions, the inter-city buses will have to follow the conditions. Operators looked positives in the meeting.
