Bhopal: Intense cold wave likely from today

Bhopal: Snow fall and rain in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttrakhand is likely to intensify Cold wave in the state and temperature may fall by 3-4 degree Celsius. The western disturbance and cyclonic circulation caused snow fall and rain in the valleys and nearby states. Cold-wind lashed the state capital on Sunday evening.

However, day temperature remained a little bit high in the state capital and other places but the by the evening, chilly wind shivered the state capital. Weatherman said that it is an indication that state will be in trap of cold wave again for the next couple of days. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 26.5 degree Celsius while it recorded a minimum temperature of 10.5 degree Celsius.

Indore recorded a maximum of 24.8 degree Celsius while it recorded a minimum temperature of 11.1 degree Celsius. However, Mandla recorded 6 degree Celsius According to Meteorological department, Madhya Pradesh is likely to experience intense cold wave in the next couple of days. It is due to western disturbance and cyclonic circulation hit the hills of North India — Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand.

These states experienced light to moderate rain and snowfall activities due to the presence of a Western Disturbance over northern parts of Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir region and its induced cyclonic circulation over North Rajasthan and its nearby areas during the last 24 hours.
