Bhopal: Court Orders Rs 1.20 Crore Compensation To Kin Of Railway Employee Killed In Accident

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): District and Sessions Court, Bhopal, has ordered to pay Rs 1.20 crore to the immediate kin of railway employee Rajkumar Sisodia who died in road accident.

The court has ordered truck owner Abdul Wahid, truck driver Sandeep Kakodia and insurer to give compensation of Rs 1.20 crore to the family of the deceased.

After hearing the petition filed by senior advocate RK Hingorani and Sunny Hingorani on behalf of the family of the deceased, the Principal District Judge Manoj Kumar Srivastava passed the order. According to advocate Sunny Hingorani, 26-year-old Rajkumar Sisodia, a resident of Lalghati, was a railway employee.

On December 23, 2022, Rajkumar Sisodia was on way from Bhopal to Multai by car.

At about 12 in the night on the highway near Khema Dhaba, the driver of a truck suddenly applied brakes while driving the truck carelessly. As a result, the car collided with the truck from behind. Rajkumar Sisodia died on the spot due to fatal injuries sustained in the accident.
