Bhopal: Couple Injured After Speeding Scorpio Hits Their Bike At Ayodhya Nagar & Flees

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A couple sustained severe injuries after a speeding truck hit their bike at Ayodhya Nagar Bypass in Bhopal on Wednesday night. The accused driver fled the scene, leaving the bleeding couple on the road.

According to information, the victim couple was hit by a speeding Scorpio late in the night due to which they sustained serious injuries. However, instead of helping the victims, the Scorpio driver fled the spot.

At present, it is unsure whether the accused driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Injured taken to hospital in auto rickshaw

As per passersby, they informed local police and Dial 100, as soon as the incident occurred. Even after 15 minutes of waiting, none of the officials could not reach the scene.

Later on, the bystanders were forced to take the injured to the hospital in an auto rickshaw.

The incident has been reported to the police who have taken the matter into cognizance and started to investigate.

Accused driver unidentified

The accused Scorpio driver is unidentified and absconding at present. The police will check the CCTV footage installed in the locality where the accident occurred and will start searching for the accused.

The victims are being treated at the hospital at present and their condition is unknown.
