Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A contractual employee of discom hanged self at Basai power substation under Berasia police station limits on Sunday afternoon. The contractual employee identified as Sanjay Mehar (22) aka Sanju left an emotional suicide note addressed to his mother in which held no one responsible for his extreme step.
Body has been sent for autopsy and further investigations were being carried out in this connection, police said. According to reports, resident of Baksi area of Nazirabad, Sanjay was working as an operator at the power substation. On Sunday he came on duty and then hanged himself with a rope inside a room at the substation. One of his colleagues spotted the body and called his family and Berasia police.
A suicide note was found at the spot in which Sanjay addressing his mother mentioned that he will miss her in the afterlife. Wishing to be her son in the next birth, Sanjay said that he was dedicating himself to the God while claiming that he not taking the extreme step due to any love affair.
He said that he has come to this world only for these years and now he was returning. No one was responsible for his suicide, he added. However, Sanjay’s kin allege foul play behind the incident and claimed that the persons who killed him planted the suicide note at the spot.
They said that Sanjay was happy and there was no reason that may forced him to end his life. In-charge at Berasia police station Arun Sharma ruled out any foul play behind the death and claimed that police entered the room after breaking the door in the presence of Sanjay’s kin.
