Bhopal: Youth Congress National president Amrendra Singh Raja Brar has sought white paper on religious yatras organised by the state government. People have right to know the expenditure made by government on these religious yatras, funds allotted to other organisations for holding these, said YC chief asking the government to release White Paper. Brar, who is here to attend Youth Congress meeting will also participate in cycle and bullock cart rally to protest increase in cess on petrol and diesel in the state.

Calling the state government enemy of the farmers, Brar, talking to media persons, said that instead of addressing their problems, government opened fire on them and are now implicating them in false cases.

Congress has full support of the farmers as it is fighting for their cause, said Youth Congress chief adding, “The Congress is all set to uproot the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan led government. The party will hold dharna if required and will also take out rally in support of farmers.”

Targeting the state government which is campaigning for cows protection, Congress MLA Jeetu Patwari said that hundreds of cows have been killed and around 10,000 cows have gone missing from Salriya cow sanctuary of Shajapur district.

On one hand the state government and its affiliated organisations are fighting for protection of the cow, but in reality they are doing nothing for the cows, alleged Patwati saying, “Hundreds of them are killed and thousands are missing, but none of the organisation or any leader took serious note of the matter”.
