BHOPAL: Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Young Indians will organise a one-day seminar on GST Implications – impact and opportunities on Saturday at Jehanuma Retreat, Bhadbhada Road. The seminar will be attended by officials from government departments, chartered accountants, tax and finance consultants, auditors and professionals from various industries.
CII, MP president, CP Sharma informed that RS Maheshwari, additional commissioner, customs central excise and service tax, Ashish Philip, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan (all from Mumbai) and chartered accountant Pradeep Mutreja will address this interactive seminar. They will also answer the queries from participants. Sharma further informed that seminar will deliberate on GST overview, sectoral issues and the role of technology to facilitate a smooth transition to the new indirect tax regime.
