Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A violent clash between two groups of minor miscreants in a PC Nagar area near 12 No. Stop on Sunday afternoon left three injured, including one critically, Habibganj Police said here on Monday.

According to police, the incident stemmed from an ongoing rivalry between Shubham Khande of PC Nagar and Raju Donal alias Nevla of Shahpura Multi. Both are adults, but the majority of their gang members are minors -known for causing disturbances in the area.

SI Akhilesh Tripathi said, two days prior to the incident, a member of Shubham's gang was beaten by Raju Donal in Shahpura building. A video of the assault was circulated on social media, fueling tension between the groups. In an attempt to settle the dispute, both sides met around 1 pm on Sunday at a building in PC Nagar. However, the meeting turned violent after.

During the altercation, a minor from Raju Donal’s gang allegedly stabbed Sahil, a minor associate of Shubham, inflicting a deep wound on his neck. Another minor from Shubham’s side also sustained knife injuries.

In retaliation, miscreant Sohail alias Bakri and two minors from Shubham’s group attacked Prithviraj alias Raja Kochle of Raju's gang, injuring him as well. All three injured were rushed to the hospital, where Sahil’s condition is reported as critical.

Habibganj police have registered cases of attempted murder on complaints from both sides. Six out of the seven accused have been arrested, including four minors. One accused remains at large. The SI confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and efforts are being made to apprehend the absconding suspect.
