BHOPAL: Being cornered for the frequent power cuts in the state by the opposition, the Congress got an opportunity on Thursday to hit back BJP over its recruitment advertisement released on social media by its Damoh unit.
‘Wanted who are expert in cutting power and also in hooking’, reads an advertisement released on social media by Damoh BJP. Targetting the opposition, the ruling Congress claimed that the advertisement has exposed that BJP was behind the unscheduled power cuts in the state.
The BJP leaders on Wednesday had taken out ‘Laltern Yatra’ to tarhet government over the power outages in the state. The Congress government is at the receiving end over power crisis and the BJP not leaving any opportunity to flay the government over the issue.
The BJP advertisement has come as a shot in the arm for Congress. The Congress now is taking to public the advertisement in which the Damoh BJP unit is conducting recruitment of persons well versed in creating power crisis cut in the area.
Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja informed that Damoh BJP media in charge Manish Tiwari had floated the advertisement on the social media.
Earlier in a major ‘electricity fault’ in Damoh, power supply to 22 villages was disrupted and the Congress had filed a police complaint in this regard, he informed.
