BHOPAL: Bhopal active cases have dropped below 1000 after a long period, while the†figure stood at 476 in Indore on Friday. The number of patients undergoing treatment has come down to 156 in Ratlam.
State reported a corona positive rate of 0.1 per cent.
Active cases in other 49 districts remained under 100. Active cases in 7 districts range between 50-100; these include Jabalpur (97), Ujjain (52), Sagar (66), Khargone (68), Betul (74), Rajgarh (50) and Damoh (91).
These districts reported 9, 5, 0,2,3,4 and 1 new cases respectively.
The 12 districts where active case are below 10 include Burhanpur (0), Bhind (0), Alirajpur (4), Khandwa (5), Dindori (3), Mandla(3) and Umaria (8), Chhattarpur (9), Dewas(7), Balaghat (8), Sidhi (9), and Katni (6). Similarly, their corona cases also zero. Besides, other districts which reported zero corona cases are Tikamgarh, Jhabua, Morena, Barwani, Singrauli, Anuppur, Shahdol, Sehore, Shivpuri and Sagar. Their active cases are 17, 11, 12, 14, 10, 33,18,11, 10 and 66 respectively.
State reported 110 corona cases taking the infection tally to 7,89,064 and toll to 8,707. Active cases have fallen to 2,727. Around 71,421 samples were sent for testing, of which 450 samples were rejected at time of testing. On the day, 339 Covid patients were discharged from Hospital. Indore and Bhopal reported 21 and 24 corona cases respectively.
