Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Eight people lost their lives, and nine others were injured in three major road accidents in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.
The accident occurred between 1 AM and 7 AM on Wednesday night.

First Accident
Three young men lost their lives when a speeding car crashed into a stationary dumper on the roadside in Mehgaon, Bhind district. Two others were seriously injured and referred to Gwalior for treatment.
The accident took place on National Highway-719. The victims were identified as Akash Rathore (25), Mangal Rathore (26), and Umesh Rathore. The injured, Dheeraj Rathore (20) and Sunil, were taken to the hospital.
A family member, Ajay Rathore, shared that a wedding ceremony was ongoing in their house. The groom’s elder brother Akash and his cousins left without informing anyone. Early in the morning, the police informed the family about the accident. The wedding procession was supposed to take place that day, but the tragedy struck before it could happen.

Second Accident
Three people lost their lives when a Scorpio vehicle crashed into a bus from behind at around 3:30 AM in Maihar. Three others were critically injured, while one person suffered minor injuries. The victims were traveling from Bhopal to Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Snan.
All the victims were traveling from Bhopal to Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Snan. The injured were taken to the civil hospital and later referred to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa for better treatment.
The accident occurred near Ram Mandir on NH-30. The bus was also heading to Prayagraj. After the collision, the bus driver fled the scene.
Maihar Tehsildar Jitendra Patel visited the hospital to check on the injured. The deceased were identified as:
Rohit Kushwaha (24), son of Tulsiram Kushwaha
Dolaram Kushwaha (50), son of Panna Lal Kushwaha
Umesh Kushwaha (45)
The injured included:
Om Prakash Kushwaha (60)
Shivam Kushwaha (24)
Tulsiram Kushwaha (50)
Third Accident
Two people lost their lives when an auto lost control and overturned in Datia at 7 AM. Four others sustained injuries. Some of the passengers were traveling to Bhander, while others were headed to Pandohkar Dham.
All the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
These accidents have raised concerns about road safety in the state, highlighting the need for stricter traffic regulations and better awareness among drivers.
