Bhopal: 2.50 lakh take part in ‘Padhein Bhopal’

As many as 2.5 lakh students and people took part in a 45-minute programme ‘Padhein Bhopal’ from 8.30-9.15am, organized on the initiative of the Governor Anandiben Patel on Tuesday.  The Governor said that such programmes generate awareness among the children and citizens about education.

The students of primary, middle, higher secondary schools, colleges, engineering, medical colleges, universities along and Raj Bhavan School took part in the programme.  Both children and adults brought books of their interest with them for reading in the programme in Bhopal. A report has been prepared by the team of World Book of Record, London to register this programme in the world record. The Governor finalised the programme by holding meetings with the school education, higher education departments, universities and all educational institutions.

She also urged the students, teachers and common citizens to link themselves with the programme. The Governor also urged them to carry along with themselves a book to the campus of school, college, sports ground or any other place of their interest for recitation.
