BHOPAL: There are 1, 696 corona patients and 969 black fungus patients in different hospitals across the state.
Out of 1, 696 cases, 786 are in ICU, 656 on oxygen-supported beds and 254 on general beds. Nearly 1914 patients are in home isolation.
Most of the patients suffering from black fungus have begun to recover.
All medicines, including amphotericin-B injections, are available in hospitals.
These figures came up at a meeting Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held with the officers at Mantralay on Tuesday.
Chouhan said that the corona infection had reached the minimum level in the state.
In terms of corona cases, the stateís position is 27th among 28 states.
Chouhan urged the officials to continue with the testing and said that aggressive testing was necessary to deal with the third wave.
Vaccination is the only way out to keep the coronavirus at bay, he said, adding that everyone should get vaccinated.
A mega vaccination drive would be launched from the next month, he further said.
Weekly corona positivity rate is 0.4% and recovery rate 98.4%, he said.
Medical Education Minister Vishwash Sarang, chief secretary Iqbal Singh Singh Bains and health commissioner Akash Tripathi were present at the meeting.
Positivity rate 1% in Bhopal
In 50 districts, the weekly positivity rate is below 0.1%, but, in Bhopal, it is 1%. In Indore, it is more than 1.4%.
Zero positivity rate in 15 districts
There are no new cases of Covid-19 in 15 districts: Alirjpur, Ashoknagar, Balaghat, Bhind, Burhanpur, Guna, Khandwa, Mandla, narsinghpur, Neemuch, Shivpuri, Sidhi, Tikamgarh, Umaria and Niwari.
